System Camera Notes of Caution

Set-up
LH80GPI Setting = Switching Camera & Return
GPI1: Red Tally (Tally) GPI3: INPUT SEL YPbPr (Return Video Side) GPI4: INPUT SEL SDI (Camera Side) or INPUT SEL YPbPr (Signal Converted from VBS to YPrPb), RET is the signal that is sent via SDI

BS300: Return Video In SW


Manual SW : SDI / Video (Switching with Dip-Switch at the back of BS300)

Operation on Camera will not work when EC4 is connected and switched on. IRIS Operation on Camera Please set the IRIS AUTO on lens, otherwise you cannot control. Warning no P2 card
Please update the camera If a P2Card is in the updated camera, you will no longer see the warning.

Battery
13.5V is coming from CA. In Default, you will see the battery warning, so please select BATTERY in the BATTERY setting, and also select TypeB in SELECT setting.

Caution
Generally, this camera system does not support 720p, 1080/24p.
This is because the VF does not support them, so you cannot see the RETURN VIDEO with VF. However, if you use CVF100, you will be able to use the camera system even in 720p mode. In 720p system, you can also use LH80 w/o VF as the camera system.

Some noise when switching the RETURN VIDEO. Prompter works only in HD.
In an HD system, the prompter signal can be transmitted. This is because the HD-SDI signal is broken up, and the HD signal is sent at 8bit, SD signal is sent at 2bit. Prompter outputs the signal, coming from VIDEO IN on BS300, to RET OUT on CA300.
