Mark tube end with a permanent marker 3/8 Use a 4.5 Back & Decker or Daywalt grinder w/ cut off wheel. cut tube (optional) chuck part in lath and true up cut end, machine grove on outside for boot clean part (free of chips) install CV grease reassemble

Warning: These CVs have been modified, They were cut down to get more articulation and travel out of the KJ suspension. DO NOT PULL ON AXLE SHAFT IT WILL SEPARATE FROM CV HOUSING. The snap ring grove was cut off and will allow the axle to be pulled out of inner CV housing. This will only happen when the axle is out of the vehicle.
