APPLICATION
There are various applications for the Petrowell inverse gas lift dual flow safety valve, the most common being Inverse Gas Lift Insert String (IGLS). The IGLS allows the injection of gas down the insert string and production up the new annulus created. If the control line pressure is lost the safety valve will close and isolate the tubing and annulus flow paths. The IGLS can be used to introduce gas lift to a completion that was not designed to accommodate gas lift or in wells where the casing condition does not allow for gas containment. There are several other applications as stated below: Velocity/siphon strings (surface hang-offs) Foam injection Capillary string hang-offs Chemical injection
FEATURES
Rod piston operated Dual flow paths API 14A 11th editions tested Metal to metal seals Life expectance
BENEFITS
Greatly increases the life expectance of the valve. Allows the injection of gas/fluids and production at the same time. All valves have successfully passed class 1 testing. The inner flow tube and flapper have metal to metal seals faces with secondary soft seat for low pressures. The critical components are manufactured from incoloy material for greater life expectancy. They are put through an expected life cycle test for added assurance.
