Surah al-A’ala (The Most High)

ِ‫بِسْمِ الِ الرّحْمنِ الرّحِيم‬

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

 Surah al-A’ala (The Most High)

‫سبّحِ اسْمَ رَبّكَ الَْعْلَى‬

َ
[87:1] Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most
High,
 Surah al-A’ala (The Most High)

‫الّذِي خَلَقَ فَسَوّى‬

[87:2] Who creates, then makes complete,

 Surah al-A’ala (The Most High)

‫وَالّذِي قَدّرَ َفهَدَى‬

[87:3] And Who makes (things) according to a

measure, then guides (them to their goal),
 Surah al-A’ala (The Most High)

‫وَالّذِي أَخْرَجَ الْمَرْعَى‬

[87:4] And Who brings forth herbage,

 Surah al-A’ala (The Most High)

‫فَجَ َعلَهُ غُثَاء أَحْوَى‬

[87:5] Then makes it dried up, dust-colored.

 Surah al-A’ala (The Most High)

‫ل تَنسَى‬
َ َ‫سنُقْ ِرؤُكَ ف‬
َ

[87:6] We will make you recite so you shall not

forget,
 Surah al-A’ala (The Most High)

‫ل مَا شَاء الُّ ِإنّهُ يَ ْعلَمُ الْجَهْ َر وَمَا يَخْفَى‬

ّ ِ‫إ‬

[87:7] Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows

the manifest, and what is hidden.
 Surah al-A’ala (The Most High)

‫وَ ُنيَسّرُكَ ِللْيُسْرَى‬

[87:8] And We will make your way smooth to a

state of ease.
 Surah al-A’ala (The Most High)

‫فَذَكّرْ إِن نّفَ َعتِ الذّكْرَى‬

[87:9] Therefore do remind, surely reminding does

profit.
Surah al-A’ala (The Most High)

‫سَيَ ّذكّرُ مَن يَخْشَى‬

[87:10] He who fears will mind,

 Surah al-A’ala (The Most High)

‫جنّ ُبهَا الَْشْقَى‬

َ َ‫َويَت‬

[87:11] And the most unfortunate one will avoid it,

 Surah al-A’ala (The Most High)

‫الّذِي يَصْلَى النّارَ الْكُبْرَى‬

[87:12] Who shall enter the great fire;

 Surah al-A’ala (The Most High)

‫ت فِيهَا وَلَ يَحْيَى‬

ُ ‫ثُمّ لَ َيمُو‬

[87:13] Then therein he shall neither live nor die.

 Surah al-A’ala (The Most High)

‫قَدْ َأفْلَحَ مَن تَ َزكّى‬

[87:14] He indeed shall be successful who purifies

himself,
 Surah al-A’ala (The Most High)

‫صلّى‬
َ ‫وَذَكَرَ اسْمَ رَبّ ِه َف‬

[87:15] And magnifies the name of his Lord and

prays.
 Surah al-A’ala (The Most High)

‫ن الْحَيَا َة ال ّدنْيَا‬
َ ‫ل تُؤْثِرُو‬
ْ َ‫ب‬
[87:16] Nay! you prefer the life of this world,
 Surah al-A’ala (The Most High)

‫وَالْخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ وََأبْقَى‬

[87:17] While the hereafter is better and more

lasting.
 Surah al-A’ala (The Most High)

‫ف الُْولَى‬
ِ ُ‫إِنّ هَذَا لَفِي الصّح‬

[87:18] Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures,

 Surah al-A’ala (The Most High)

‫صُحُفِ ِإبْرَاهِيمَ َومُوسَى‬

[87:19] The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa.
