Self-Destruction Time: None Tracer Burn Time: 3.5 s Description: Designed for use with the anti-aircraft gun 30 mm 2A72, 2A42, and 2A38M, the 30 x 165 mm AP rounds are intended for engagement with light to medium armored ground and air targets with armor of up to 30 mm. On impact the penetrator starts to progressively break-in through the armor, forming a bundle of high-speed fragments. The higher energy of the fragments ensures more damage and higher kill probability behind the armor.
