Description of Process Flow Diagram

The PFD of an intermediate pressurized Naptha tank. PFD basic purpose is to indicate the process data(variable) at different stream as indicated in PFD. Naptha feeding to the tank (TK-10) form product feed line through a control Valve which has control depending on Level of this tank. Two feed pump are in same capacity , 1 working and 1 stand by (1W+1S). One pressure control valve is provided on Return line to the tank for maintaining constant pressure at Reactor feed line where constant pressure is monitored with the help of pressure transmitter . Naptha is highly flammable hydrocarbon so it is required to make it blanket inside the tank with the help of Nitrogen (inert gas) through automatic pressure control valve (PCV).If any high pressure developed inside the tank which is exceed the set pressure of pressure safety valve(PSV) then it will open and released high pressure to flare line for protecting the Tank as well as major accident.
