TWO WAY ANOVA

Step 1: Open the data set

Step 2: go to Analyze

Step 2 opens the task roles tab as shown below

Highlight the Purchase probability and drag it to the icon for the dependent variable. Then drag treatment and gender to the icon for the classification variables. When finished, your screen should look similar to that shown in this slide

Step 3 Click the model Tab

Highlighting a single variable will activate the Main bar. Clicking that bar places the effect in the Effects panel

Highlighting the multiple variables will activate the Cross and Factorial bars. Clicking one of the bars places the interaction effect in the Effects panel.

Step 4 Click on the model options tab

Step 5 Click on the Post Hoc test tab

Click Add to display the drop down menus.

For the class effects to use option, set the interaction level True; this identifies the interaction as the focus of the analysis, then change comparison as shown in this slide

Click run to finish the analysis
