Installation Information - SAP NetWeaver 2004s

This page lists all the guides and links required to perform a full installation of an SAP NetWeaver IT scenario, beginning with the planning phase and concluding with the IT scenario configuration.

Planning

Read the Master Guide to determine the installable units, the SAP systems required for your IT scenario, and the installation sequence. Use the Technical Infrastructure Guide to determine the best distribution option for your system landscape, considering performance, robustness, and scalability. Installation - SAP NetWeaver 2004s


From the Media List for SAP NetWeaver 2004s, identify the media you need. Using the appropriate guide for your operating system, database and technology, install any of the SAP NetWeaver 2004s usage types. Follow the link Installation Guide - SAP NetWeaver 2004s to get to the download page. Installation - Standalone Engines and Clients


Install the standalone engines and clients required for your IT scenario implementation. The Master Guide indicates which installations are relevant.

Configuration
The information required to configure your IT scenario is accessible through both the Solution Manager and the Technology Consultant's Guide. In the Solution Manager you can run IMGs for scenarios, where applicable. The Technology Consultant's Guide offers only readable material, not executable files. Note : Guide for z/OS is not included as it is not applicable to UNIX/NT environment. Documents in the section Configuration are in html format and can not be downloaded.
