What is the Mark 1 S The Milkor 40mm Multiple Grenade Launcher Mark 1 S is a rugged and robust shoulder fired 6- shot launcher that has been qualified according to MilitaryStandards. The Mark 1 S is a standard, 105mm chamber, 3rd generation launcher enhancing the capabilities of the legendary 40mm MGL also known as the Milkor Y2, and the 2nd generation Mk 1. Milkor has supplied in excess of 50000 MGLs to more than 40 countries worldwide. The Mark 1 S is an area of effect weapon that can deliver 40mm rounds to an effective range of 375m at a rapid firing rate of 6 rounds in 3 seconds. This positions the Mark 1 S as an essential tactical tool for any combat environment. The Mark 1 S is a semi-automatic weapon designed with simplicity to offer uncompromising reliability and efficiency. Typical use of the Mark 1 S The Mark 1 S is ideally designed for use by Armed Forces where its extreme versatility can be used in combat or peacekeeping environments. The Mark 1 S is capable of firing a wide range of Lethal and Less Lethal munitions thus offering the bearer the ability to employ the use of rounds ideally suited for the specific situation, including Tear Gas and Rubber Baton rounds for crowd control, Grenade and Flash-bang rounds for combat situations and many more.
