Instructions to Install Radio Mobile v2

1. Install Visual Basic by double-clicking VisualBasic6sp6.exe on the DVD 2. Then unzip the DVD RadioMobile.zip file to C:\

3. Now you should have C:\Radio Mobile 4. Download the Africa.zip file 5. Unzip Africa.zip to c:\RadioMobile. All of the Africa files should end up in C:\Radio Mobile\Africa 6. In the folder C:\RadioMobile right click rmweng.exe 7. Select Send to > Desktop (create shortcut) 8. copy the radiosys.dat file from the DVD folder to C:\RadioMobile. 9. Copy SiteSurvey-11-2006.net, a sample of a Radio Mobile network file. 10. Launch Radio Mobile from the desktop icon. Options > Internet > SRTM > Use local files only. Local files path - C:\RadioMobile\Africa Internet ftp directory - USGS Africa - 3 arcsecond (if using coordinates in Africa)

Basic Program Operation 1. In Radio Mobile > File > Open Networks > browse to the sample file > Open 2. It will ask to Save Networks > Click No 3. Edit > Fit Maps to Unit Elevation Data Source - Select SRMT from the drop down menu Drive or path - C:\RadioMobile\Africa Click Extract 4. Radio Mobile will then draw a map based on the sample file.
