To understand the project Management, the one has to understand first what is ca lled Project?

A project is a temporary endeavor with begining date and end date . it usually has time and cost constrained. Next to understand is why project? T he projects is for acheiving unique goals and objectives. Here the word 'unique' differntiate the project from operation. The operations are repetitive, permena nt to produce the same products or services. For example, manufacturing the cer tain model cars at automobile plant is operation whereas working on bringing new model of a car is the project. The manufacturing the cars is a repetitive activ ity and bringing new model car will have start and end date to complete the new model.A project can be a product or service. So Project is a set of activities which needs more attention to acheive the uniq ue goals and objectives on time with allocated funds. Here Project Management is coming into picture. The project Management is the discipline which plans, orga nises, executes, controls resources to acheive the unique goals or objective. Th e project management is one the key skills demanded by organisations from Projec t Managers to complete their projects successfully by delivering the products or services to clients or customers.
