Analysis of the Company by the Group

The company as it admitted has an informal environment at its workplace. We interviewed all the three officials in the same office of Mr. Neeraj Kumar and as it was evident from the conversation amongst them, they maintained a friendly and comfortable relationship amongst them. The officials seemed to be dedicated and devoted to the organization which was evident in the manner they defended their company when we talked about the challenges that they faced being in that company. It appeared that there wasnt much of a relationship between senior officials with their junior staff as there was very less implementation of delegation of authority. There seemed to be lack of trust in the senior-subordinate relationship. The organization also lacks an efficient employee-feedback mechanism. There is practically little room for employees to share their views, opinions, suggestions with the management. The officials seemed to be dissatisfied with the currently existing employeebenefitting policies of the organization and they further suggested some the amendments that could be done. Although sugar industry is a traditional one, but still it has kept up with the changes in the technology and changing environment to be in line with the basic requirements. This is reflected by the incorporation of SAP software and the activities like video conferencing. The company implements the concept of teams in the organization which are essentially cross-functional. The company is high on its CSR objectives and is dedicated towards betterment of rural people and their environmental conditions.
