OVERVIEW OF SHIKHAR 11 The students of Chetana's Self-Financing Courses had organized an inter-collegiate cultural event SHIKHAR11 on 12, 13,

14 and 15 January, 2011 especially for the management college students. We have been organizing this event for the last 10 consecutive years. We at Chetana's Self-Financing Course were encouraged by the excellent response that the event has received in the past and strived for even better performance in the year 2012 and will continue to do so in the years to follow. The sponsors who had associated with us to make the event successful for 'SHIKHAR11' were Supreme Transport, Organization Private Limited, Supreme Aviation Service Inc, Aircel and Pepsi. Out of the 200 colleges established in Mumbai we had approached 93 colleges in the city, wherein we had 197 entries for outdoor games (Cricket, Box cricket, Rink football, Badminton, Volleyball), Indoor games (Carrom, Chess, Table-Tennis, Business quiz), Cultural event (Rangoli, Mehendi, T-shirt painting, Tattoo making, Skit, Dance, Fashion show). During the event our sponsors got connected to theirs young audience, Aircel had put up a kiosk in our college premises for 2 days, Pepsi had distributed Pepsi cans during the event and the other two sponsors had put up their logo on our posters and backdrops. The various winners of SHIKHAR11 had got various prizes; there were many more prizes which had been given out to the participating affiliates present in the audience, which comprised of more than 300 students. This year, we intend to perform even better for SHIKHAR12, wherein we will take an initiative to explore

talents from students from various colleges all over Mumbai. We are planning to target about 250 colleges across Mumbai and get about 500 entries. We are also planning to advertise our event through various media like newspaper, radio channels and television networks and we also plan to propagate our event through social networking sites which is an effective medium amongst target audience.
