The Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants-Divine Word College of Legazpi Chapter (JPIADWCL) will be conducting its annual JPIA Fest on August 25-26, 2011 with the theme, Celebrating Paradise: A Break from the Daily Grind. The JPIA Fest is a gathering of all Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA) students in the said institution which includes academic and non-academic activities. The activity aims to achieve the folowing objectives: y To be able to select the representative of the JPIA-DWCL for the Search for the Ambassador and Ambasadress of Goodwill 2011 in the upcoming 2011 Regional Mid-Year Convention (MYC), an inter-school competition for Universities and Colleges offering the course of BS Accountancy. To develop awareness with regard to environmental conditions through a coastal clean-up to be held in Sto. Domingo To enhance the leadership skills and integrate in each JPIAn the _____ through different team building activities To impart knowledge to JPIAns through the seminars and workshops included in the said activity To develop camaraderie among JPIAns and strengthen their bond To provide an avenue for JPIAns to have a break from their daily routine

In this regard we would like to request your good office to permit as to use the Albay Astrodome for free as a venue for the team building activities, the Search for the Ambassador & Ambassadress of Goodwill and JPIA Night on August 26, 2011 from 1 p.m. to 12 mn. The organization does not have enough fund to cover the said expense. Moreover, we are aware that you are advocating the thrust of education. The organization has alloted the other portion of the budget to the Accounting Wiz Clash which is an academicrelated activity to enhance the accounting skills of the BSA students and select the best students to represent the institution in the academic-part of the MYC.
