Client Name: Kolkata Police Client Requirement The Kolkata police needed a surveillance solution that would help them monitor the flow of traffic, detect any traffic violations and detect any threat to the lives or property of people. They needed a very powerful analytics tool that will analyze the video for them and throw up suspicious behavior on the screen. Solutions from Enkay Technologies After analyzing their requirement, Enkay technologies offered them the best customized city surveillance solution to meet all their requirements. As a part of their City surveillance solution ,Enkay had proposed 95 cameras both high end PTZ type and non PTZ type to be installed at various locations including street corners, VIP residences, Heritage structures and vulnerable places of worship. These cameras would be connected to a central monitoring center where continuous monitoring of the video images takes place to detect any kind of: a) b) c) d) e) Traffic violation Traffic buildup Mob buildup Suspicious behavior of a person Subversive activities

Outcome Needless to say Enkay Technologies was chosen as the main System integrator of the video surveillance part and has executed the project within deadline for delivery Installation & commissioning. The entire project has been designed, specified by Enkay Technologies in conjunction with Keltron who are the project owners.

The city of Kolkata had over the years become very congested with mushrooming of vehicles and population. However now Kolkata will have much safer days ahead thanks to the efforts of Enkay Technologies in conjunction with Axis of Sweden and Keltron of Kerala.
