    ofQueenPhillipaofHainaultwifeofKingEdwardIIIandthepersonresponsibleforbringing
    lavendertoBritain.

    ThearrangementswhichhavebeententativelyputinplaceincludeadinnerontheFriday
    night,avarietyofwalkingtourstosomeareasnotgenerallyaccessibletothepubliconthe
    SaturdayincludingavisittoandlunchatStCatherinesCollegeledbyDrBarryJuniperwho,
    workingwithArneJacobsen,setouttheCollegegardens,andabanquetintheSenior
    CommonRoomhostedbytheProvostandhiswife.

    Indicativecostsatthisstage(toinclude2nightsaccommodationattheCollege,breakfasts,
    lunchandthetwodinners)looklikebeingoftheorderof230perheadwithgenerous
    reductionsforstudentswhowouldbegivenaccommodationintheProvostsLodge.
