Inviting applications for the exchange program with EPFL, Switzerland

Applications are invited from Ph.D. students for a 3 months exchange with EPFL Switzerland, under the framework of the IITD-EPFL MoU. There are five scholarships available for three months each. Applications duly recommendation by Head of the Department/Centre should be submitted (in hard copy as well as in soft form) in the office of Dean (PGS&R) by 14 February 2011 or earlier. Application should contain the following: 1. Academic and personal details ( Name, Roll No., Deptt./Centre, Thesis topic, Name of Supervisor(s), Date of completion of Comprehensive Exam. & approval of Research Plan, email id, contact tele. no etc.). 2. Brief resume (one or two page), including list of publications based on your doctoral research. 3. Consent/acceptance from faculty at EPFL ( Pl. visit the EPFL website, establish contact and obtain consent of faculty at EPFL in your area of research). 4. Photocopy of front page of your passport indicating validity of the same. Only those students are eligible to apply, who have completed their comprehensive examination & approval of research plan, and also have a valid passport.
