BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Beauty. She lived with her father and her sisters in a small village. Beauty was a beautiful girl. She was also hard-working. She always helped her father on the farm. One day, her father set out for the city. He saw an old castle and went in. Noone was in but there was food on the table. Then he walked around the castle. He picked a rose from garden for Beauty. Suddenly an angry Beast appeared. He wanted to kill Beautys father unless Beauty was brought to him. Beautys father told her daughters what had happened. Beautys sisters ordered her to see the Beast. Beauty went to see the Beast and had to stay at the castle. She felt scared, lonely and sad. She tried to run away but was stopped by the Beast. The Beast treated Beauty well. Soon, Beauty began to like the Beast. One day, through the Beasts magic mirror, Beauty saw that her father was sick. The Beast allowed her to go home. Her father was happy to see her. One night, Beauty had a dream. A fairly told her that the Beast was sick. Beauty hurried back and saw the Beast dying. She began to cry. Tears fell onto the Beast. Suddenly, the Beast changed into handsome prince. Beauty and the Beast got married and lived happily ever after.

Thumbelina, cantik tetapi tubuhnya hanya seukuran ibu jari, sedang tidur di dalam kulit kenari. Seekor ibu katak melompat ke dalam kamarnya dan menculiknya untuk di jadikan istri anaknya. Namun Thumbelina menolaknya dan ia berhasil melarikan diri dari perkawinan itu dengan menggunakan bunga bakung mengarungi sungai yang membawanya ke Negara lain. Tiba-tiba ada seekor kecoa terbang merendah untuk menyambar tubuhnya dan membawanya ke daerah kekuasaan bangsa kecoa di pepohonan. Kecoa itu tergila-gila kepadanya, sedangkan Thumbelina merasa jijik. Namun akhirnya Cinta sang kecoa pudar karena tekanan dari kecoa lain dan dia pun mencampakkan Thumbelina. Thumbelina berkelana seorang diri di tengah hutan. Dia kemudian membuat sebuah tempat untuk tidur, dan mencoba belajar untuk hidup sendiri di tengah hutan yang lebat . Ketika musim dingin tiba, dia hampir mati kedinginan, untungnya dia menemukan tempat hangat di lubang kediaman seekor tikus tanah. Thumbelina harus mendongeng untuk tikus tersebut agar boleh tinggal di sana. Tikus itu mempunyai tetangga yang kaya raya yaitu seekor tikus mondok. Tikus mondok pun terpana melihat Thumbelina dan berniat akan menikahinya. Thumbelina tidak mau menikah, tetapi ia tetap pacaran dengan tikus itu karena tidak mau melukai perasaannya. Pada suatu saat, dia berteman dengan seekor burung laying-layang yang terjebak di jalan tembus antara rumah tikus tanah dan tikus mondok. Thumbelina merawat burung itu hingga ia sehat dan musim dingin berakhir . Saat musim panas tiba, burung layang-layang mengajaknya pergi, tetapi Thumbelina merasa berhutang budi kepada tikus tanah. Sehingga dia menghabiskan musim panas bersama tikus itu. Sehari sebelum pernikahannya Thumbelina pergi keluar untuk melihat cahaya matahari, dan pada saat itulah burung layang-layang terbang melintas di atasnya dan membawa Thunbelina ke sebuah tempat yang sangat indah di daerah tropis, di sinilah Thumbelina bertemu dengan pangeran tampan yang ukuran tubuhnya sama dengan dia. Mereka pun saling jatuh cinta . Akhirnya Thumbelina menikah dengan sang pangeran dan mendapatkansepasang sayap di tubuhnya. Mereka pun hidup bahagia selamanya.

THUMBELINA Thumbelina, beautiful but her body is only about the size of your thumb, sleeping in a walnut shell. A mother frog jumped into his room and kidnapped her to be made in her son's wife. He then made a place to sleep, and try to learn to live alone in the middle of dense forest. When winter came, she almost froze to death, fortunately he found a warm place at the residence of a gopher hole. Thumbelina must storytelling for the mice to be living there. Mice that had a wealthy neighbor who is a mole. Mole was stunned to see Thumbelina and intends to marry her. Thumbelina did not want to get married, but he kept going with the mouse because they do not want to hurt his feelings. At one point, he made friends with a bird-kite laying trapped in the pass between the house ground and the mole rat. Thumbelina caring for the bird until he is healthy and winter ends. When summer comes, swallows her away, but Thumbelina felt indebted to moles. So he spent the summer with the rat. The day before her wedding Thumbelina went out to see the sun, and that's when the sparrow flew over it and bring Thunbelina into a very beautiful place in the tropics, this is where Thumbelina met the handsome prince of her size with her. They fell in love. Thumbelina eventually married the prince and mendapatkansepasang wings on his body. They live happily ever after.
