What is a god? -something u worship -why do ppl worship gods -ppl worship bc they think those gods can give them something, what they want or something they need -so a god is something that ppl think some who can give them what they want and what they need -so like different gods, Mars the god of war, or the rain god -reglion is the worship of these gods, the worship can be any ritual So is there a god? -now you u cant deny that there isnt a god because everyone puts their faith in something. -these gods are not limited to idols, and ppl, they can also be ideologies such as communism So the question is out of al the things ppl worship are any of them worthy of worship? -now there are some universise truths- we call them common sense, things that everyone agrees with

-shortest distance is a straight line -part of something is less than the whole -now one of the things that people dont agree on is morals and ethics, thins we should and shouldnt do -aside from some basic princples such as dont murder and dont steal people have vary different rules of ethics -most people who critize islam dont critizie it based on its fundamental teaching, because they so entrenched in reason that people critize its moraliality -so the quran groups people in different catergories -the first group are those who say there is no god, people who say we are just a product of chance -these people historically have been few in number, why bc the belief in a creator is rooted in commonsense -for example the Quran ask the athetist about the universe did it come from nothing? --now if I tell you theres a piece of pottery will you look at it and say oh look it ia a product of chance and quincedence and you will say some one created it. -no commonsense and human experience tells us that something can not come from nothing
