    Saturday, May 27, 2006 3:17:39 PM gg682908 "SDHTac" Sometimes it is also healthy to reboot the system and refresh

    all installed devices. Before it is done MC should do database backup. There should be no equipment alarm and association should be available. Switch active MC (MC1) to standby MC (MC2) and reboot MC1. Procedure: 1. Login the XC-CIT and check the current alarms. (NO Equipment alarms should be there). 2. Take database backup. 3. Connect laptop to WS1 via hyper terminal and check the XLAN IP assignments menu (1.3) and check MC status from menu (7.1) 4. If MC1 is active then log out and login again at MC2 via HyperTerminal while connecting the laptop at WS2. Then follow the procedure as below:

    Inform TNOC and check the alarms after successful MC switch to protection. Reboot of MC1 Connect the laptop at WS1 and login to MC1 via HyperTerminal and follow the procedure as below:
