Before installing, extract the files from the archive that you downloaded to a temporary directory on your hard drive labeled, for example, Drivers\Audio. Audio Driver Installation instructions: Click Start --> Settings --> Control Panel. 2. Double click on the System icon. 3. Click the Device Manager Tab. 4. Double click on ? Other devices. 5. Double click on PCI Multimedia Audio Device. 6. Click on "Reinstall Driver". 7. Click Next. "Specify the location of the driver (Advanced)" should be selected. 8. Click Next. "Search for a better driver than the one your device is using now. (Recommended)" should be selected. 9. Check "Specify a location". 10. Type in c:\drivers\Audio. 11. Select next. 12. The system will find "Intel(r) AC'97 Audio Controller". Click next. 13. Click Finish. 14. Click Close.
