5 out of 5 eggsRating: 5/5Best I've used Pros: Very clear, decent frame rate, great low-light performance, plug and play, fun software, fantastic microphone. Typical Logitech quality (very good) means it'll probably work for years and be supported in whatever version operating sys tems is out then.

Cons: none so far Other Thoughts: It's amazing the difference between a cheap camera and a decent one. This is definitely a decent camera. I'm running Windows cam and had to turn rate. This cam, on from my monitor at 7 64 bit. No problems here. I previously had a cheap $20 web on lots of lights to get decent video with any kind of frame the other hand, actually does pretty well just off the light night, and even with a small desk lamp does very well.

The microphone performance is great too; previously people couldn't hear me unle ss I had a mic fairly close to me. Now (on Google Hangouts) I just talk, even if I'm walking around the room, and everyone can hear me just fine. The mounting system seemed a bit cheesy to me at first but honestly, it works gr eat. It stays where I put it, and the ability to swivel back and forth is great. Previous cameras that I've had would fall off sometimes. I'd buy one of these again in a second except I'd probably jump up to the 615 fo r another few bucks and get 1080p cap Did you find this review helpful? 1 out of 5 eggsRating: 1/5blue screened Pros: the few minutes of working video were clear. other than that i wanted to b reak this thing. Cons: first, i have a 64 bit machine, when i tried to install the drivers for th e camera my computer went to blue screen and then a memory dump. i tried again t hinking that i hooked it up wrong but no it crashed again. thinking it was a faulty product (they do happen) i took it back and exchaged it for another one. no luck, with in 50 seconds of plugging that one it my compute r blue screened again. called Logitech support and waited on the phone for 30 mi nutes until i finally got tired of lisinting to their answering machine. Other Thoughts: DON'T get this product. i have tried it one three different comp uters all of them 64 bit machines but various OS, all crashed. the one time i go t video it was a zombie because my computer didn't recognize it as there and i c ould never get it back. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Pros: This thing absolutely blows away my old cheapo webcam. Very detailed pictu res and great quality voice chat. I can't say much for the microphone as I've ne ver made any real use if it because I have a desk mic, but it seems to work dece ntly. Not as good as my desk mic, but not far off. Which is nice to know that I' ll have a solid backup just waiting in the wings if something goes wrong with my desk mic. I don't have the greatest internet connection, but the quality over things like skype seemed unaffected from the higher quality picture (as skype is limited in picture size unlike other voip) Cons: Logitech software is clunky as usual. I'd rather have not installed it at all. (but you would lose some of the wacky effects and the ability to pan the ca mera a bit). Other Thoughts: Great microphone for the price. Would buy again with no hesitati on. Certainly worthy to be sitting atop my lcd. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? 5 out of 5 eggsRating: 5/5Great Web Cam Pros: Crisp video and great frame rates. Is much better than my built-in 1.3M laptop web cam. Easy to mount on my laptop and has a nice swivel feature. Cons: None that I've encountered. Other Thoughts: I only performed a custom install, and just installed the driver s. I did not test out any of the software included with the web cam. I have only tested this out with Skype and it has performed very well. I have a laptop with a i7 Quad Core processor with 8GB of RAM, running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit . I installed the latest drivers from Logitech's website and did not attempt to use the driver's on the CD that came with the web cam. It was easy to install an d set up this web cam. 4 out of 4 people found this review helpful. Did you? Yes No Thanks for the valuable feedback you provided!
