Government of Maharashtra Scholarship for the Minority Communities Students pursuing Technical and Professional Education / All Courses after H.S.C.(Arts, Commerce , Science, etc.)-Year-2010-11 Minorities Development Department, Government of Maharashtra is offering the Scholarship for students pursuing Professional and Technical education /All courses after H.S.C.(Arts, Commerce, Science, etc.) for Muslim, Sikh, Buddhist, Christian, Parsi and Jain communities. Applications are invited through Online Application System / Offline for Fresh Scholarship / Renewal of scholarship from all eligible students for the academic year 2010-2011. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Eligibility for all courses : Applicant should be Domicile of Maharashtra State and passed S.S.C from Maharashtra. Applicant should not avail any other scholarship / stipend. The total annul income of family/ guardian should not be more than 2.50 lakhs. For renewal, applicant must have admitted in the next year. 30 % seats are reserved for girl students. Documents to be attached along with the application form for fresh scholarship: One Copy of passport size photograph with signature pasted on Application form. Attested certificates of educational qualification (S.S.C.Onwards). Income and minority declaration - affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper of minimum Rs.10/-or income certificate from the employer.(School leaving certificate can also be considered as proof of minority) Proof of permanent residence- Any one attested copy of Domicile Certificate/Ration Card/Electricity bill/Telephone bill/Passport/Election Card etc. Advance Receipt of payment. The income declaration and mark sheet of previous examination is to be attached along with Application Form for Renewal of Scholarship. Courses for Scholarship : A) Technical and Professional :The professional and Technical courses Diploma / Degree in Engineering/Technology UG & PG ( B.E. / B. Tech/ M. E. / M. Tech), Pharmacy ( B. Pharm / M. Pharm), Architecture & Town Planning (UG & PG), Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Applied Art & Craft ( UG & PG), MCA, MBA/MMS, Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, B. Tech Agri, etc. B) All Courses after H.S.C.(Arts, Commerce , Science, etc) Procedure for Submission of Application Form : A) Technical and Professional courses : The eligible aspiring candidates shall fill the Online Application Form on website www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/Scholarships .At the time of filling of form, the system shall generate Application ID. The candidate has to note down the Application ID and password for further use. The candidate should take the printout of the Application form, attach required documents and submit it to the concerned institute. The messaging facility is available to the candidate to interact with Regional Offices or Directorate. Procedure for Scrutinizing and Forwarding Application Form by Institute. 1)The institutes under Directorate of Technical Education : Institute shall log on to the Online System as per the Institute Code and Password provided by DTE, scrutinize the applications received, confirm the online application form through login and issue the receipt of confirmation to the candidate and forward the scrutinized application form along with report to the concerned Regional Office of Technical Education.

2)The institutes under other Directorates in Maharashtra : Institute shall manually scrutinize the online filled application form and forward to the concerned Regional Office of Technical Education. 3)The recognized institutes in India, but outside Maharashtra : Institute submit the manually scrutinized online filled application forms to the Nodal Officer directly. The institute should send the Applications in batches, instead of waiting for the last date. The candidate should fill the Bank account details in prescribed application form. Scholarship amount will be transferred to candidates bank account only. Note:- For Merit-cum-Means Based Scholarship of Government of India for the Year-2010-11 1) The candidates eligible for renewal of the Merit Cum Means based scholarship can still apply for renewal. 2) The eligible Buddhist community candidate can still apply for Fresh Scholarship.
