RULE BOOK OF EUPHORIA 12

Common Rules:
1) Normal registration charges for games will be as per given fees structure. 2) Free Food Coupons would be provided to each participant on their sports event. 3) If you register on the day of campaigning early bird registration charges will be applied. 4) Late registration charges would be charged after 17th January. 5) Umpire s decision will stand irrevocable in all games. 6) All players are requested to arrive within the designated time for their respective game, else disqualification will be done. 7) All participants must bring their college id cards and any photo id on the day of game, else entry will stand fortified. 8) All participants are bound to collect their participant badges and food coupons from registration desk at least 1 hour before their gaming schedule. 9) All standard rules shall remain applied for respective games. 10) All the tournaments would be of Knockout type.

CRICKET
1) It will be a knockout tournament. 2) Each team can consist of maximum 14 (11+3) players 3) All the league matches will be of 12 overs per innings, while final will be of 15 overs. 4) Registration fees as per fees structure.

5) The league matches will have 3 overs of powerplay which will be decided by the batting side, during which only 2 players will be allowed in the outer field. 6) One bowler will be allowed a maximum of 3 overs. 7) The rule of LBW will not be followed. 8) Extra runs for no ball, wide ball, over throws, byes and leg byes will be there. 9) There will be a free hit for front foot no ball 10) If the inning will not be completed within the designated time, penalty will be given as per the delay caused by the respective side.

CHESS
1) Maximum time for final match would be of 3 hours, semifinal matches would be of 2 hours while all other matches would be of 1 hour. 2) Each pawn will be of 1 point, a knight and bishop of 3, a rook of 5 points and the queen will bear 9 points. 3) In case of a draw, based on the above point system, the winner will be decided. 4) A player will be given maximum time of 3 minutes for each move. 5) Both the kings will be placed facing each other. 6) Castling will be allowed only if both the king and rook are unmoved. 7) King can be moved anytime.

Volley Ball
1) 2) 3) 4) Each game will be of 15 points. Change of service point will not be considered. Overhand is allowed. Each team can have a maximum of 10 players.6 players on field and 4 substitutes. 5) If at end of game time, both the teams will have equal points, team to acquire 5 points first, will be declared winner.

Table-Tennis
1) Each game will be of 21 points.

Badminton
1) Each game will be of 21 points. 2) Change of service point will be considered.

Carom
1) Black and white are the carrommen. 2) Referee will toss the coin. And from that white and black colour will be given to player. 3) If a player shoots the queen coin as target, successively player has to shoot the respective coin (black/white). 4) As it is a knockout game, elimination for semi finals would be done on point basis incase more than 4 teams qualify.

Kabaddi
1) During the play, player has to say kabaddi only. 2) A player once out can be retrieved again. 3) Once all the players of a team are out, the opponent team will be declared the winner. 4) At the end of the time, team having more players on field will be declared winner.(20 x 2 mins)

Kho-Kho
1) Each team consists of 12 players.(9+3) 2) A player once made out, cannot be retrieved again. 3) A match consists of two innings. An innings consists of chasing and running turns of 9 minutes per side.

Photography
1) A maximum of 10 photos can be submitted per day per person per token. 2) Professional photographers cannot be a part of this competition. 3) Tokens for this competition will be available at Registration Desks on the spot.

Sudoku
1) All the general Sudoku rules will stand abided. 2) Participant finishing the Sudoku block in the least time will be declared the winner.

Debate Competition
1) Two participants per team. One of them, would debate in favour of topic and one against it. 2) Topics of Debate: a. National Game Hockey Vs National Craze Cricket b. Umpire Decision Review System and Hot Spot Technology in Cricket: Helpful or Not? c. Bull Fighting: Adventure Sports or Cruelty? 3) Any one topic can be selected from above listed. 4) 5 mins would be given to each team and 1 min would be given to conclude the debate.

Poster Presentation
1) Two participants per team. 2) Topics: a. Rules of football b. Digital technologies in cricket. c. System for LAN gaming like CS and NFS 3) Participants must arrive on 23rd January with poster prepared well before event. Maximum two full imperial size sheets (of any colour) can be used. 4) Participants would present and explain their posters to Judges and visitors for that day.

Art Exhibition:
1) Participant will prepare Painting on A2 size (Half Imperial) Sheet or Canvas with any kind of Colour on given theme, and arrive on 23rd January with prepared painting.

2) Exhibition of the painting would be organised for 5 days. 3) 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes would be awarded. 4) Theme: Euphoria Moments of Sports E.g. Winning Moments, Moments of Zeal, Crowd Excitement etc. for any sports

Counter-strike
1) Each team would consist 5 players. 2) Initially bounty of 5000 would be given. 3) Best out of three rounds (5 mins per round) would be considered. 4) Toss will decide which team will be CT or terrorist.

Need For Speed


1) 10 players would take part in one race of three laps. 2) Top 3 racers of each round will move ahead while the rest would be knocked out. 3) Each race will be held on different maps. 4) Final race would be of 5 maps.

Fun Games
All Fun Games are registered on the spot. Tokens (10Rs. Per Token) for the games will be available on Registration Desk. Fun games would be on for all 5 days at any time. (a) Gully Cricket (1 token per participant): 1. 5 Participant per team. 2.1 Pitch catch by 1 hand would be considered out. 3. Only under arm bowling would be allowed. 4. 4 Overs per innings.

5. After 10 runs, batsman gets retired. If all batsmen get out , retired player can resume. 6. If ball hits directly (without pitching) to any wall,batsman gets out. 7. Last man standing gets chance ,but cant run. Just can hit boundaries. 8.If ball gets out of window anyhow, batsman gets out. 9.winning prize: the winning team gets chance to play again FREE. (b) recycle bin (1 Token per game). 1.Single Participant game. 2.10 paper balls will be thrown in to basket 15 feet away from the player. 3.6 Out of which if gets thrown in to basket, player wins 3 tokens in prize. 4.If all balls gets thrown in to basket , player wins 5 tokens in prize. 5.After first 3 throwes,a table fan gets on to distract throw. 6.After 2 consecutive throws thereafter, fan speed and angle changes. (c) Dart knight (2 Token per game): 1. single participant per game. 2.3 darts will be given. 3.According to the best aim,2,3 or 5 tokens would be awarded in prize.

(d) Anti chess (2 Token per game): 1.The player whose all pieces get killed wins!!! 2.The game even continues after the death of king!!!! 3.if an opponent s piece is getting killed, one has to kill it compulsory!!!! 4. If an opponent s two or more pieces are getting killed, One can choose whom to kill.

5.Winner of the game ,wins 3 tokens....!!!

(e) Andha Kanoon (1 Token per Game): 1.Single Participant Game. 2.participant who is blind folded,tries to hit the box. 3.one trial per person. 4. Winner of the games, wins 3 tokens....!
