If yes, what was it like? A very brief on-line module related to coaching children, an on-line tutorial on use of technology. Have you ever taught an online course? No o If yes, what was it like? Have you ever taken a blended learning course? No o If yes, what was it like? Have you ever taught a blended learning course? Yes o If yes, what was it like? I would make the case that I am currently teaching two blended learning classes: my AP USH and USH classes. The students do a fair amount of work on-line, including listening to podcasts I have made (using Camtasia), watching documentaries, and participating in online discussions. What are your goals for this course? Fine tune my skills and understanding of Haiku. Get a big picture view of the philosophy of blended learning. Develop a vision for my own blended course

6. Record any other thoughts you may want to share with me. I know that many of the teachers taking this course
are already doing great things in their classrooms with blending learning and Haiku. I am hoping that we will have an opportunity to share with each other. We may be our own best resources, as we are here in the trenches at Bullis. Second, I hope that blended learning does not mean more work for teachers and students. I think we need to respect the fact that everyone needs downtime when they are unplugged.
