Experience/Qualifications Needed

 University graduate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Fire Engineering, Safety Engineering, Physics or Mathematics.  Minimum 8-10 years experience in production or engineering of oil and gas facilities, including a minimum of 4 years experience in Technical Safety Engineering.  Physical Effects Modelling and Quantitative Risk Assessment. Experience with Shell FRED and SHEPHERD software is preferred.  Facilitating hazard workshops for Process Safety hazards. These may include HAZID, HAZOP, SIL classification, Bow-Ties, ALARP, SIMOPs, and Facility Layout and Siting.  Developing ALARP demonstrations for Process Safety risks and developing HSE Cases.  Knowledgeable of Sour Gas design and operations standards and guidelines.  Knowledgeable of Shell standards and guildelines.(preferable)  Knowledgeable of Fire Protection standards and guidelines.  Good communicator who can influence key stakeholders.  Ability to lead and manage others.
