    I am from Spring Break '92. an accident, the greatest mistake. I am from a broken relationship, unwanted, left behind. I am from grandparents' protection. Grandpa's hands, Grandma's words. I am from finding myself, overcoming, striving to be better. I am from choosing my battles, knowing when to back down, and when to stand my ground. I am from my happy place, my escape, my home away from home. I am from yes sir, no sir, respect. I am from breaking the mold, Becoming stronger. Proving them wrong.
