ABSTRACT ‘A Non-governmental organization(NGO) is a legally constituted organization created by people with aan objective to involve into some social service and earn it without taking any financial aid from the ‘government. Kasturba Gandhi National Memorial Trust is one among the NGO's that has a very vibrant and progressive history of serving the down trodden in society especially the women and children ‘This trust was named after Kasturba Gandhi .wife of Mahatma Gandhi.This trust has various branches spread across India. Delhi , Madhya Pradesh .Shiridi are few among them. In our paper , we have given a brief description on our visit to Kasturba Gandhi National Memorial Trust which is located at Hydershakote in Hyderabad. We have discussed about the working of the NGO , its infrastructure ,ongoing programmes,people staying there and the volunteers ‘who are working for the betterment of the people who are staying there.
