Advertising: The New Wave


Nowadays we are having many new and efficient ways of advertising, getting better and more effective at a very fast pace. Our company, Smith. Co needs to promote in a shortscheduled timetable a new line of software especially designed for companies. Here are some new and interesting ideas on how to promote that to the potential clients. First of all there is a big need for a website. It is a vital part of making a web presence of the business in order to make ourselves known to the world. A potential client who is seeking information should be able to find ample information about our company and its features online, and be able to know if he s found the right man for the job. Secondly a demo should be created. This, can be presented online, or distributed to a number of different companies, future clients and persons of interest. This should offer a first glimpse of our services and make anyone interested seek more information and eventually become a client. Also, a new and innovative type of advertising is to sign up for Google Adwords. Google Adwords is an advertising program where Google places a link to any website included on the side-spaces and top of the various searches that users make on Google search engine. It does so based on the keywords that, match the content of the website. So, as a result our services & URL will be displayed as a sponsored link. Another new, effective and fashionable way is blogging. It is a revolution for companies and performers in our days. Almost every CEO and Company has a blog! The purpose of our business blog will be to post about our software and share experiences and features that will interest our market. A Blog creation might sound like a pain, but in reality it is very easy, and also free. Other bloggers can also rate our products and services, and through interaction with popular bloggers we can increase the visibility of our software business and promote precisely to the right people. I think that in order to advertise more effectively and, at the same time, with low-cost today, we will have to abandon the old idea of reaching the masses . Our advertising should be made precise and personal. It should be focused into the potential clients themselves and not to everyone willing to hear . So, using the above methods, we can shoot a promotion with zero to no-importance costs, aimed right at the clients-to-be and expect it also to be successful.
