Form: 2 Steps 1. Add verb for to be

am/is/are
2. Add present participle

verb + ing
(subject) + am/is/are + past participle (verb + ing) Example:

I am playing Maple Story

Examples
Present Simple I watch TV I read books He fights robots You ski We go to the market Present Continuous I am watching TV I am reading books He is fighting robots You are skiing
We are going to the market

Rules
1. For most verbs, the past participle is adding ing ex. Watch p Watching 2. For verbs ending in e, do not write the e ex. Havep Having 3. For short verbs ending with a vowel and a consonant, double the consonant ex. Run p Running 4. For verbs ending in y or w, ignore Rule 3 ex. Pay p Paying
