against cancer World Cancer Day is a global event that helps raise peoples awareness of cancer and how to prevent, detect or treat it. This event is held on February 4 each year. Cancer is a leading cause of death worldwide and accounted for 7.6 million deaths (around 13% of all deaths) in 2008. (WHO) According to Muhammad Hanif and colleagues, (2009) that Cancer is becoming a serious health threat in many Asian countries and it has become the leading cause of death in Asian Pacific countries (Park et al., 2008). Pakistan, the seventh-most populous country in the world, is a republic in south central Asia. According to Karachi cancer registry (KCR) reports in the 1995-1997 data, the most common malignancies in terms of age-standardized rates in males were lung, oral cavity, urinary bladder and larynx. The cancers in females were breast, oral cavity and ovary. Tobacco, wine (kacha, paka), pan, gutko, manpuri consumption is increasing; so there is a rise in lung, neck and throat cancer. Among women, late marriage, early menarche and late menopause are some of the causes of breast cancer. Women are exposed to the female hormone at an early age and that increases the risk of breast cancer in district Badin. Bright future social organization is working all over the district Badin to raise awareness in the people of the district to prevent from such type of cancers and help in detect cancers on early stages. This organization is also helps the poor peoples in the treatment of cancer and also refers them to the tertiary care hospitals for further management such as Karachi and Hyderabad.
