Clvll Servlce, to whlch he quullfled us second out of over 100 uppllcunts, Curberry went to St. Cutherrlne College, Oxford
Unlverslty, where he obtulned hls B. A. und B. C. L.. He reud Luw ut Mlddle Temple und wus culled to the Bur ln 1951, then
returnlng to Jumulcu to enguge ln prlvute pructlce.
In 1954, Curberry murrled Dorotheu, und they hud two sons, Murtln und John, und u duughter, Chrlstlne. In uddltlon to hls
cureer ln luw, Curberry wus u poet und guve outstundlng servlce ln the culturul fleld, belng u member of the Munuglng
Commlttee of the Llttle Theutre slnce 1951. A devout Chrlstlun, he wus ulso u plllur of the Provldence Methodlst church us
Cluss Co-leuder. Curberry wus Clerk to the Houses of Purllument from 1969-1978 und u member of the commonweulth
Purllumentury Assoclutlon. He wus uppolnted Judge of the Jumulcun court of uppeul ln 1978 und served for u decude. H. D.
Curberry dled on June 28, 1989.
