ALESSANDRO LOTTI VIA DEGLI ORTI 21 53100 SIENA Phil Gower 15, St.

John Street London NW4 25th November, 2010 Dear Mr Gower, I am an Italian university student and I would like to improve my English . Next month I will have to sit for the PET exam but I find some difficulties to do grammar exercises. I listened to your English course advertisement on the radio but I don't know how much it costs. I studied English at school for ten years and I went to Manchester two years ago for a working holiday. Yours faithfully, ALESSANDRO LOTTI

TRAFFIC PROBLEMS
After yesterday's latest car crash, some considerations have to be taken because the accidents which happen at Porta Ovile cross-roads are really a lot. This place connects four busy important streets and it is situated near the city center with offices and shops all around. Every day, especially at 1 o'clock PM and at 6 o'clock PM, a lot of people drive in the area. There are a lot of causes for the accidents: the high speed, the ignorance of rights of way, the use of the mobile while driving etc. To improve the situation, traffic wardens should be present at least in the rush hours or a traffic lights should be installed to regulate the traffic. But mainly people should drive more carefully.

MY WORST HOLIDAY
Last April my friends and I booked a journey to Morocco: one of dream places for all of us! We flew to Agadir in July. The hotel was very far from the beach so we had to rent scooters. The rooms were small and hot lacking in air conditioning. The beach was rocky and we could not play football or volleyball, also swimming was not good because the water was dirty. Moreover the excursions were disappointing because there were no interesting monuments; even the typical suk was poor. There were no pubs or discos in our area and the city was very dangerous at night. We came back to Italy after a week but I don't miss that vacation at all!
