    Home Learning Project- My Hero Write a biography about a person that you think is a hero, this could be a family

    member or friend that you are proud of. It may be a celebrity that has inspired you in some way; an athlete, singer or someone that you have seen on the news that has done something positive for the community or the world!

    What is a biography? Biography means writing about another persons life. Bio- comes from the Greek word for life. Graphy- comes from the Greek word for I write. Complete the tasks over the next 5 weeks Week one: Read the biography about Fernando Alonso and answer the questions. Week two: Use books and websites to research your chosen hero. Week three: Select the most important information from your research to plan your writing. (You may use the planning sheet to help you) Week four: Write a biography (you may use the writing frame to help you) Week five: Proof read your work before you hand it in. Use the checklist to make sure your work is accurate and written to the best of your ability.
