Dishes from a Latin American country

Latin America consists of many different Spanish countries that possess unique culture. Part of culture is food or delicacies. I will show you four of Perus most mouth-watering dishes .

Papa a la Huancana is dish of sliced potatoes covered in a spicy cheese sauce that is typically served cold, as a first course or luncheon dish. It's delicious made with yellow or white potatoes. If you prefer a spicier sauce, add an extra yellow Chile pepper.

Solterito is one of the specialty dishes of Arequipa, a beautiful city in southern Peru. Solterito is a vegetable salad, traditionally prepared with the giant lima beans and large kernel choclo corn that grow so well in Peru. Chunks of salty queso fresco cheese, spicy rocoto Chile pepper, tomatoes, olives and red onion make this salad burst with flavor and color. This is a great summer picnic salad, but it can be

prepared with frozen vegetables in the winter as well.

Mazamorra morada is a popular Peruvian dessert made from purple corn and fruit.

Tacu tacu a filling, nutritious, hardworking man's lunch plate special. Traditional tacu tacu consists of rice and beans pancake, a thin "sbana" (sheet) of steak, and a side of fried plantain, all topped off with a fried egg. It may sound complicated but it's actually easy to make and really good. There are excellent seafood versions of tacu tacu as well.
