If not, and all else fails, here's a solution I had prepared as plan B (it was given to me by an experienced user of this multimedia disk I found on the web): 1 - Delete the partitions on the disk via Disk Management in Windows. (ethernet connection or USB). 2 - Format the drive in FAT32. 3 - Repeat the procedure for updating the firmware but instead of placing the files on a USB thumb drive you put in the root of the FAT 32 partition. 4 - Connect your AivX to your TV. After the firmware updates everything should be fine!
