TRADEGYAN

INTRODUCTION:
One comes across numerous situations in life when choices are limited, time is less, and decisions tough to make. Tackling such situations require knowledge, experience and last but not the least common sense. Share trading is a similar stuff, where lack of experience and proper insight can cost you very much. TradeGyan, a Managing Tech event in Pragyan XII offers you an oppurtunity to learn decision making ability, management skills and learn the complex functioning of Share market. EVENT FORMAT:
1. There will be a 3 hour single live round. 2. It is an individual / team event(max 2 participants). 3. Each team will be provided with equal amount of virtual money and resources. 4. Resources include A4 sheets (20 nos.), pro-circle, scale, pen and a scissor. 5. Resources may be used to produce commodities like gold, silver, platinum, copper, etc. 6. To convert the resources into commodities there will be some rules. 7. For example a square with area of 4, 6 and 8 sq.cm only will be considered as gold of 4,6 and 8 gm respectively. No other dimensions will be allowed. 8. Teams can draw circles, squares, triangles, rectangles, and trapeziums of given dimensions and exchange them for virtual money. 9. For the exchange of commodities and shares there will be terminals(same as that we have for share trading). 10. There will a unique number allotted to every team for the purpose of transactions. 11. For selling of shares and commodities the candidates have to mention their team number and the credit/debit will be done accordingly. 12. The live prices of shares and commodities will be displayed (updated after each transaction). 13. The variation of price will be decided by market forces of demand and supply.
