Abstract SixthSense' is a wearable gestural interface that augmentsthe physical world around us with digital information andl et s u s u s e na t ur a l ha n d g e s t ur e s t o i nt er a c t w i t h t ha t infor

mation. It was developed by Pranav Mistry, (PhDstudent in the Fluid Int erfaces Group at the MIT MediaLab).By using a camera and a tiny projector mounted in a pendant like wearable device, 'SixthSense' sees what yousee and visually augments any surfaces or objects we areinteracting with. It projects infor mation onto surfaces,walls, and physical objects around us, and lets us interactw i t h t h e pr o j ec t e d i nf or ma t i o n t h r o u g h na t u r a l ha n d g es t u r es , a r m mo v e m e n t s , or o ur i nt er a ct i o n w i t h t h e object itself.
