CHAPTER 4 Data Analysis and Interpretation This chapter contains the analysis of the proposed system, class diagram

of the proposed system, analysis of system requirements, problem encountered and cost benefit analysis. The Proposed System The proposed system aimed to develop a 3D Animation of the Epic of Ibalong that shows the different characters and scenes found in the epic. 3D Animation of the Epic of Ibalong has three (3) main hero characters who played the main scenes; the hero Baltog, came from Botavara of the brave clan of Lipod, decided to look for the boar named Tandayag who destroyed the crops; next hero is, Handyong, who came to the land of Ibalong, with his men, he had to fight thousands of battles and face many dangers to defeat the monsters. As warriors, they first fought the one- eyed monster with three necks in the land of Ponong, and made their next attack against the giant flying sharks called Triburon, drove away the giant and very fierce Sarimao which had very sharp fingernails, and killed all the crocodiles which were as big as boats. Among them, the serpent named Oryol was the hardest to kill because of having a beautiful voice, she could change its image to deceive its enemies; last hero is Bantong, a good friend of Handyong and was ordered to kill the new monster in Ibalong Rabot, half- man and half- beast, with awesome and terrifying powers. The goal of this 3D Animation of Epic of Ibalong is to develop an animated story of the Epic of Ibalong, to gather data about the Epic, and to evaluate the effect of the system.

We use MakeHuman and Maya 7.0 software for creating the character model, and Windows 7 Sound Recorder to record the sound and voices for dubbing the characters on the movie, and Sony Vegas 7.0 to edit the sounds and videos and also for the creation of the final animation.
