February 12, 2012 Dear Family and Friends, Alpha Delta Pi recognizes the Ronald McDonald House as our national philanthropy, and our chapter here at Georgia College is no exception. The Ronald McDonald House is a charity that provides a home-away-from-home for families with a hospitalized child at little or no cost. The Ronald McDonald House alleviates the daily stresses that families face in order to ensure that the focus is on the healing process of their child. As a group of young, philanthropic women, our Alpha Delta Pi chapter recognizes the importance of giving back to our community, and we strive to assist the Ronald McDonald House in any way possible. On March 7th, we are hosting our annual King of Diamonds male pageant. This male pageant will showcase a number of gentlemen sponsored by various campus organizations. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House in order to help families in need. In order to make the King of Diamonds most successful, we are in need of financial support. We are striving to make the Ronald McDonald House a well-known organization on and off campus. We need your help to spread the word and in turn, help save lives. Your contribution of any amount is greatly appreciated. We depend on caring hearts like yours to make our cause known. Donations can be made payable to Alpha Delta Pi. With love and appreciation, Stephanie Dudek Philanthropy Chair Zeta Iota, Alpha Delta Pi
