BRIEF 6- Design Context Publication Brief To produce a publication on fashion branding relevant to my design practice highlighting all the research undertaken. Background / Considerations This will be a personal in depth research project exploring fashion branding through case studies of 5-10 brands (this will be determined when I can see how much info can be collected for each) they will range from low to high budget brands and explore this key areas in each brand. -Concept of brand, history, influences, how they will continue the brand further. -Design elements in and out of store -Print Process, techniques, stocks etc used -Companies and studios who have designed for these brands, primary research from a few. -Engagement with consumer through events, interactive design.

The research will form an informative, comparative publication on fashion branding which will give me the knowledge and understanding to embark into the design industry. Think about the aesthetics of the publication, how I can differentiate the brands using colour, stock, binding, format, layout and type. Mandatory Requirements Must include both primary and secondary research as well as qualitative and quantitative data. In depth research, link with my design practice, influence one and other. Deliverables 1 Publication consisting of x amount small publications.
