FIRST & SECOND CONDITIONAL First Conditional. (Real situations) Condition Present Simple.

. Result Future (WILL) It is used to talk about things that will happen in the future if something else happens first. Examples: 1 If I study hard, I will pass the exam. 2 If its sunny tomorrow, well go to the beach. Remember: Unless = if not If we dont protect the environment, many animals and plants will be endangered. = Unless we protect the environment, many animals and plants will be endangered. Second Conditional. (Hypothesis) Condition Past Simple. Result would+ infinitive. Its used to talk about a hypothetical situation or to give advice. Examples: If I were you, I would eat less sugar. You smoke a lot. You would be healthier if you didnt smoke. Im very tired. If I werent so tired, I would go to the party. Im not rich. If I were rich, I would buy a yacht.
