Lifelong learning is a process of learning through any medium either by formal or informal way of education. Lifelong Learning is the provision or use of both formal and informal learning opportunities throughout people's lives in order to foster the continuous development and improvement of the knowledge and skills needed for employment and personal fulfilment. 1 Music is the most popular type of entertainment and most easy way of learning. From birth to death music is the integral part of life as everybody in the society is needs music for his needs in daily life. Nursery rhymes to classical music everybody needs some part of music in his or her life. Music is a powerful medium of education in both formal and informal ways of learning and when the matter of lifelong learning arises music is and can be the most powerful way /medium of education . There is an urgent need to include music in the process of lifelong learning as the medium and an individual section for every age group and type of institution.
