Brief Analysis of case The Dilemma of personal growth

y Student who did his summer internship in ABC ltd in SD division and was working on his summer project in commerce stream y Closely concerned with the internal working & internal finance and accounting system of the firm y Co. has said not to leak out any crucial information of co. , not even after his completion of course or not even after joining XYZ co. y The co. mentor doesnt want the information to be leaked out by any means and the institute mentor wants exact figures for research work to be shown in project y Student is trapped in this situation / dilemma

Q1 . If you had done the above summer project in ABC in SD division ,what would you do in the situation you have landed into and why ..?

y I wouldnt present the exact information which is crucial from the organization's point of view in my project report. y I will use approximate figures. y I would discuss and use learning's from ABC Ltd., which is important for institute as well as for me and my summer project. y Get confirmation from ABC regarding final placement

Q2.FUTURE ACTION TO AVOID SUCH A DILEMMA ???

In this case the trainee is being pressurized from both sides Institute as well as from the company. To avoid such situation in future: From institute it should not be mandatory to present actual figures. From the companies point of view, if company is sharing confidential information it should take care that student should have a final placement in the same organization

Q.3. Can ABC Legally prevent Its employees from Joining their rival XYZ ? Explain Your answer

Ans. Yes ABC ltd can legally prevent their employees from shifting job to their rival XYZ. Fair treatment to employees. Protection of confidential information. Non disclosure agreement. Post employment Restriction. Assurance of final placement in ABC

CONCLUSION

Getting approximate figures of financial accounts of the company would help (may be in %) Straight forward conversation with the institute guide Company should also be giving assurance of final placements to some extent If placed in XYZ, I will not leak the exact values of ABC accounts known by me To be honest enough to XYZ I can talk in terms of approx values.
