Chicago, Illinois (March 25, 2012) "The Friends of Rocky 21" and Annette Clark announce an event which launches her series of public appearances to honor the memory and legacy of her son, Rasul "Rocky" Clark. Annette's next step in her journey is her dream of securing catastrophic health care insurance with no monetary caps for all student athletes in Illinois and throughout the U.S.A. The date for Annette Clark's "Journey From Tragedy To Hope" is Sunday, March 25, 2012 from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm at the First UMC at the Chicago Temple, 77 W. Washington, located in downtown Chicago. It will be a Q & A with a Master of Ceremony and 6 panelists. Each panelist will be given 10 minutes to speak. The main focus is passing the Rocky Clark Legislation in Illinois. The 6 panelists are as follows: Panelist 1 - Annette Clark, Mother of Rasul "Rocky" Clark Panelist 2 - Kenneth Jennings, Board of Directors of the Gridiron Alliance, NFP Panelist 3 - Helene Elias, Physician Assistant at Ingalls Hospital in Harvey, IL Panelist 4 - Trustee Tyrone Ward, Trustee of Robbins, IL Panelist 5 - Kim Throwers, Founder and CEO of Essential Relief Support Services-ERSS, (Patient Advocate) Bowie, MD Panelist 6 - State Representative William Q. Davis, 30th District of Illinois. Annette Clark will be the lead speaker and she will end the session with a Q & A period with the panelists. A Meet and Greet will take place immediately following the event. It will be a free will offering event to assist Annette with her housing situation.
