1.

Welch is a sensitive but no-nonsense man who views the world as competitively tough. He competed by being bold, free of bureaucratic red tape, and staffed by self-motivated, proud and quick moving employees. Welch used a fair and proper reinforcement in setting his goals, te company s goal for both parties employee and the management to be more motivated. He also used a combination of techniques wherein he stated his thoughts. Goal-setting research would might say that it s a good thing that Welch s company goal is to be number one in the market and that would also affect the performance based on the result or outcome.

Jack Welch value self-confidence so highly as what he have said, self confidence is the fuel of productivity and creativity, decisiveness and speed coz for him with this he can probably motivate his people, and face every business problems as well as to ba able to compete with other company for the betterment of their own as well as is people. For him, in one of his thought it says that call people as managers and they are going to start managing things getting in the way. He also used the Welch Matrix - namely as assesing the attainment of bottomline results and tha level of commitment to their company values. Greate weight is given to the values dimension, as these are difficult to teach and will ultimately produce the numbers desired.
