On2102Feb21,ThuraUShweMann,theSpeakerofthePyithuHluttaw,inhissecond attempt, submitted a letter to U Khin Aung Myint, the Speaker of the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw for the minimum increase to 100,000 Kyats for the lowest level within the publicsector. FTUBsupportstheeffortbythePyithuHluttawtoincreasethebasicsalaryandapplauds thespeakerofthePyithuHluttawonhiscontinuedefforttopresenttheneedsofthe peopleexpressedthroughtheelectedrepresentatives. FTUBremindsthepublicserviceworkersthatourneedsarebeingchampionedbythe PyithuHluttawandtheSpeakerofthePyithuHluttaw. Weshouldnotbespectators. Ourneedsarebeingadvocated.Wemustshowsupport. FTUB will initiate a signature campaign to send to U Hla Tun, the Union Minister of FinanceandRevenue.Thesewillsaythat"WetheworkerssupportthePyithuHluttaw callfortheincreaseto100,000KyatspermonthasminimumwageandtheMinisteris responsibletofindasolution". FTUBadvisestheworkersinthegovernmentfactoriesandintheindustrialzonesthata peacefulwalkinsupportofthePyithuHluttawcallforincreaseinminimumwagewithin therespectivefactoriesandindustrialzonesbedonebeforetheworkstarts. FTUB calls upon the farmers and the agriculture workers to support the effort by the PyithuHluttawtoincreasewages.Thiskindofeffortcanbealsobeingbeneficialofthe farmersandtheagricultureworkers.OrganizedsupportofthePyithuHluttaweffortto increasewageswillshowsolidarityforallworkersandfarmers.
