had given me a full understanding of what DHS is all about. All throughout the workshop I have learned different strategies that I could apply in my school particularly in my classroom, to name a few the making of the movie ( vodcast and podcast) which I believe would be engaging and rigorous for my students if I will let them produce one media output, techniques of embedding video to a power point presentation, biometrics lesson presentation and other methods that could help me develop an interesting and quality lesson presentations. Integrating the Homeland Security concepts in the existing curriculum is important because it is a real world application of the different lessons in all academic areas that could help students aware of what is happening in their surroundings and the most important factor is that students should be exposed of what Department of Homeland Security are doing and what it could do to them.
