: Unknown. Thought to produce analgesia by blocking pain impulses by inhibiting synthesis of prostaglandin in the CNS or of the substances that sensitize pain receptors to stimulation. : The drug may relieve fever through central action in the hypothalamic heatregulating center.
: Contraindicated in patients hypersensitivity to drug : patients with long term alcohol use because therapeutic dose may cause hepatotoxicity in these patients
Hematologic: hemolytic anemia, leucopenia Hepatic: jaundice Metabolic: hypoglycemia Skin: rash, urticaria
: advise patient that drug is only for short-term use : if drug use for long-term, it may cause liver damage : tell patient to avoid drinking excessive alcohol : be aware of other OTC drugs that contains acetaminophen in calculating daily dose

-Short term treatment -competitively inhibits foe duodenal and gastric action of histamine of ulcers the H2 at receptors sites -Heart Burn of parietal cells, -GERD decreasing gastric acid secretion
- Contraindicated in patients hypersensitive to drug and those with acute porphhyria -With hepatic dysfunction
