Job summary: We are seeking a hands-on, talented, Internationalization and Localization QA engineer, skilled in Web technologies, Java, JavaScript,

PHP, hands-on in automation and capable to lead projects. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute I18n and L10n test cases; Conduct black and white box testing of international products;. Work with offshore and in-country QE, Product Managers, Project Managers as well as developers to resolve issues/defects. Communicate and coordinate work related to changes/features with offshore QE team in each release cycle. Knowledge/Skills: BS or MS in Computer science or equivalent; Minimum of 3 years experience in software quality assurance and at least 2 years testing international products;. Solid knowledge of software Localization and Internationalization process, differences, and issues Experience working with SQL databases and with PHP, JavaScript, Java, C++. Working knowledge of Windows, Macintosh and Linux OS. Proficient in developing effective test cases that expose product problems, in executing tests, troubleshooting and analyzing results in a timely manner. Generate clear and convincing defect reports while working effectively with development engineers to resolve problems. Solid knowledge of the software development process, software QA and testing methodologies, and being able to apply these principles and perform effectively in fast paced work environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Effective time management with the ability to prioritize tasks. Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time. Ability to work independently and to deliver high quality product under strict deadlines. Self-starter while being a strong team player and project lead; Desired skills: Experience leading a group Fluency in at least one language in addition to English Knowledge of mobile telecommunication technologies and experience with wireless mobile device operating systems: Android, iOS, WinMobile, Symbian, Palm OS.
